She did not know where such a sword came from. Michiko could not remember asking any smith to forge such a thing as this. In fact, her memories were muddled all together. She could remember her past, and even the past few months. But she could not recall anything from the past week. She recalled nothing of how she got here or what brought her here.
Michiko took a deep breath, and took one last look around the room. “ No free will…. I shall have to change that.” It was true she had nothing to her name currently aside from her magic and her wits, but she didn’t care. She felt like the whole world was against her right now, but she did not care. What this “ King” was doing was wrong, and she wasn’t going to stand for it.
So, Michiko began planning what to do next. First she used magic to disguise herself as an elf. Her clothing matched that of someone of high status. She was prepared for anything that came her way. At least, she had the confidence to think so. Michiko took hold of the door knob, and opened the door to an unknown destination.

When she made it down the stairs, and passed a massive bar fight, she made it out of the Dragon slayer tavern, and into the sandstone streets of Gem. The sun climbed the sky on that early afternoon, and many elves crowded the streets. It was a bustling city for sure, but the whole place looked like a large desert city.
She stepped away from the entrance to the tavern, and unrolled the map she had recently acquired. This city was large indeed, she could see the main plaza from where she stood on the west side of town. But she wasn’t curious about the rest of the city. She had dressed in such colors and fine clothing for a reason. She wanted to speak to someone from the outcast camp, and she was not going to let anyone stop her.
