Brontosaurus From the eyes of Herbert

Hello there, the  tale I have to tell you is a Long and some what confusing one if I might say so.  First things first I’m a Brontosaurs that live  in what is now known as the USA, about 156 to 145 million years ago. My species skeletons were found in a rocky formation know as Como Bluffs, in Wyoming, and I was Named by a Paleontologist, Othniel Charles Marsh.  When I was found is what causes the confusion, you see I was found during a time period know as the Bone Wars. During this period two scientist, Edward Cope and Othniel Marsh were competing to find and categorize as many dinosaurs as possible during the 1870’s. I was caught in the middle and was thought to be a Apatosaurus to began with. The nerve to think I was a dumb Apatosaurus I’m much more popular! Anyway off topic, because of how and when I was found I was lopped together with any and all other Apatosaurus because we are related or something, Blah, Blah.  I faded into absurdity, over shadowed by my dumb cousins for they looked to much like me. Finally in 2015 some scientists went back to really examine me and my weird family and finally saw I was different from them. I was once again seen as my own species by the eye of science and able to be my own Brontosaur, without the Apatosaurus cramping my style.

As for other stuff about my well allow me to elaborate.  My glorious name means Thunder Lizard, quiet a fitting name I might say so my self, for I’m a large Quadruped with a long neck and tail.  Making me 66.5 feet long or 20 meters if you don’t like feet.  Also making me about 15 feet tall as well or 4.6 meters, I used my size as a defense against all the bother sum predators of the late Jurassic and just to deter any who might try to take a bite at me, my tail ended in a long thin whip that when I swung it could shatter bone. Needless to say I’m a pretty cool dinosaur with and interesting backstory that not even my cousins could beat.
